Logo Updates

Let’s review your change request:

Design number one really draws him, but we feel like it’s missing something. He mentioned maybe  the name being around the design, the encounter being shown in the logo. The hands but want to see a true encounter with those hands. Maybe a spark of some sort coming from the gold (jesus) going into the burgundy (his people)  one? I think it important to capture both the A and E. I hope this makes sense! If not we’ll schedule a call with you.

Notes:

While the change requests were well worded and easy to understand, the implementation posed a few challenges.

The first concept represents your suggestions. I wasnt able to find a way to clearly include the hands, the AE, and the “impact” spark in a way that would be practical. With the hands, I chose to impliment the AE as the spark only clouded the concept.

The second is a simple adjustment of the hand/flame concept with added bible imagery.

The third takes another approach to the ‘ae” but with the encounter spark included.

Overall, I found that we needed to choose a direction in terms of the hands and AE concepts. It was very difficult to achieve both in a clear, meaningful way without diminishing both concepts.

Please review the submissions below and give me your feedback. Again, I would suggest leaning into the AE or the Hands concept, one or the other vs the combination of the two for readability.

You might consider the ability to embroider the logo on clothing where simplicity is important. Please let me know what your thoughts are.

Thank you!

A well-designed logo is crucial for establishing a strong brand identity, as it serves as the visual representation of a business or organization.

It creates a lasting first impression, helping to capture attention and convey professionalism, trust, and credibility. A distinctive and memorable logo fosters brand recognition, making it easier for customers to associate products or services with a particular company. Additionally, an effective logo reflects the brand’s values, mission, and personality, ensuring consistency across marketing materials and communication channels. Investing in a well-crafted logo can set a business apart from competitors, strengthen customer loyalty, and contribute to long-term success.

Important characteristics of a strong logo:

1 – A strong logo is distinguishable at small sizes

2 – A strong logo works in a single color. Multiple colors can be used, but the concept shouldn’t require color to be understood.

3 – A strong logo should contain no more than three colors (ideally, two) unless the brand otherwise dictates

Understanding your concepts

Again, it’s a pleasure working with you!

The first concept is the most direct relationship to your description and suggestions. The next is meant to convey the same principles in a less “on-the-nose” fashion. A little more abstract. The next is a representation with a more contemporary appeal. The last is a more traditional concept reflective of what you might see elsewhere i the industry.

Feel free to review these concepts as long as you’d like. Once you are comfortable with one of the basic concepts we will move to the next phase: adjustments to fine-tune the concept as needed.
